I have finally overcome my reluctance and come to terms with the fact that I've got to sell my Alfa. :/ If any of you have been waiting for the chance to get your hands on a solid Alfa that needs some TLC and only a bit of electrical work to get running then my Alfa is for you!

I want it to go to a good home and know that any of you would take good care of it!

Good price, and in my budget. Now if only I was in California. I actually have a question, once the electrical issues are fixed, how reliable should it be?

Ive always wondered if there was a difference in reliability between italian and british roadsters of the same vintage

Gawd, you tempt me. I love the honest description. I know I can fix it. Do you think it could be made road worthy enough to make it to NM?

There's no spark so it won't fire up. Not sure if its the coil, distributor (cap/rotor), or a connection somewhere in the wiring. That's the only thing keeping it from moving under it's own power.

Pretty damn reliable if you maintain it. After I bought it, I had to do the head gasket, oil leaks, o rings, and valve seals, as well as a new feul injection pump. After that I drove it almost every single day from around Feb 15th, 2014 until the beginning of August. This included driving basically the entire west coast. It's not a "set it and forget it" car though. Gotta watch out for the oil levels and all fluids constantly (as long as they're good though so are you). It would be a lot more reliable if it were upgraded to electronic ignition (still on points). Other than that, it's just the head gasket you've got to worry about. on the 2.0 litre Alfa engines, they go more frequently.

Thanks for the honest evaluation. Mama says "No, you have enough British problems". Oh well, Thanks anyway.
